July 31

Check it out - the first blanket is finished :) many thanks Beryl for stitching it together!! don't forget to thank her next time you see her.

We visited Nick Vojicic again on DVD and were inspired by his life and the opportunities he has embraced.
he shared or mentioned several Scriptures that you may like to look up, if your not to BUSY (this is a Nick thing for those of you who were not there) BoundUnderSatansYoke
Phillipians 4: 4-7
Psalm 139
Jeremiah 29: 11
Romans 8:28
These are some of MY favourite scriptures.
Don't forget that God has an awesome plan for YOUR life. Be patient and obedient, he only reveals a bit at a time. When we are faithful in the small things he the can trust us to be faithful in the big things.

Have a great week

Christmas in July is cold.

When you guys came thru the door at 4:30pm it was 5 degrees outside - when your lifts arrived it was 2 degrees. So it was cold enough to snow for our Christmas in July celebration but sadly it didn't :(

Now I know that in comparison to you guys Capri is small - but I need to tell you that she does not quite cut it as a christmas angel, well at least for this little christmas tree.

Peter racks his brain for reindeer names but alas all he has is Rudolph.

Felicity is in full swing, singing "Away in a manger" in the newly put together choir.
Have a great holiday everyone!!

Please if you have your knitting finished bring it to church on Sunday.

NO BusSpot this week

Friday June 26 there will be NO BusStop. See you in July :)

Money matters???

Well we went on a chase to find the most expensive EVERYTHING last friday and talked about the dangers of wanting what someone else has.

Quote:
ENVY is the art of counting someone else's blessings instead of your own.Kent Crockett

Satan loves to stir up discontentment because, when we complain, we are stating that God isn't good enough to us. As if giving us the life of His only Son wasn't enough by itself.
Remember take the time to thank God for all that you do have. Do it often.
Being thankful prevents greediness, envy, and lots of other sins.

I'm thankful. We have 29 squares to go towards our blankets.
Congratulations to Bec, Sophie, Felicity and Rachael who have all finished there squares. I know that Callum, Georgia, Peter, Sarah and Bronte will have theirs done really soon. We will give them just a bit longer so that everyone's squares are in the same blanket. Thanks to all those who have been knitting and who are still knitting - it would be really great to get two blankets done.
