Late reminder that tomorrow Friday the 23rd of October there will be no BusStop BUT there is action happening at the Armidale Community Church.
Meet there at 6.30pm for a free sausage sizzle, a live band and more.
Check out the V8 ute (if you're into that sort of thing)and have a great time with youth from across Armidale. Should finish around 8.30pm but no later than 9pm. Hope you have had a good first week back at school.

A-Z of shops and nature.
Georgia, Sarah, Bec and Callum won the nature challenge despite not delivering on a live full grown duck :) our second team
Peter, Sophie, Bronte and Felicity came out on top for the A - Z challenge with 2 extra points. It was very close all round.
It took several hours for my foot to recover. Note to self: don't walk all over town with a broken toe!!!!!
No more BusStop now until Term 4 - WOW where has the year gone??
Hope that you have a great holiday.
There will be prizes next term if you can memorize and repeat our BusStop verse. You might need to look back to the start of the blog to find it. I'll give you a hint, it's in Matthew.

September 25
We are off to town for some scavanger fun. Meet at The Daily Ritual at 3:45pm where we will eat and then leave, only to return again at 5:15pm. Please let your parents know the time and place for pick up.
BRING $5 for arvo T.
Sorry I forgot to take photos again last week - someone please remind me!!
You guys did a great jobs with the parachutes - we might have another go next term.
A BIG thank you to Ellie who came and looked after Capri - boy did that make a difference. She is cute but she is pretty darn good at getting the attention on herself. It was great for me to focus on just one thing - whatever BusStop was up to.

September 18
Here are a few of us that were at the church Camp last weekend. The lady on the left is Rhonda who was the speaker.
She asked us what we wanted
- to stand at a distance from God (to fear Him) OR
- to see him face to face. (Special relationship with him)
What do you want?
September 18
BusStop is in the usual place at the normal time 4:30 - 6pm.
We will be attempting to make some parachutes so bring your old white cotton or polyester fabric if you have some. I will have some otherwise.
UPDATE 4:30pm Thursday - no need to bring anything!!
Felicity - lets not wait any longer :) bring your devotion to share.

Will be praying for each of you as you go about your day.

“For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT).
God has a plan for your life! And that plan is good—not average, mediocre, or boring. It was established in the mind of God before you were ever born, before the creation of the earth itself.
This truth is made incredibly clear in Psalm 139. Look at what David writes…
“O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” (vs 1-4; 15-16 NIV)
God is amazing! He knows every thought before you think it, every word before you speak it. He knows when you lie down and when you get up, and He is totally aware of every day of your life before it takes place. With a heavenly Father like this, why go anywhere else for wisdom and direction for your life?
How can you tap into the infinite wisdom of the one who created the heavens and the earth? Through a close, ongoing relationship with Him. He loves you with an everlasting love and wants to be a part of every area of your life. As you read His Word and spend time with Him in prayer, He will reveal to you His general will and His specific will for your life.
