First things first
A big BusStop welcome to Sophie - we hope that you had a good time.
No time trial this week - we took the wool off the sheeps back and have decided to put it to good use. Our aim is to work together to finish a blanket for a child in Africa.
I know we can do it.
A HUGE thank you to - Beryl, Denise, Fay and Verity for coming as our knitting experts, to teach and to save us from our mistakes. We loved having you with us. A BIG thank you to Beryl who had 6 knitting squares started and ready to go.
EVERY TIME that you get frustrated or bored with your knitting REMEMBER that....
YOU will have food to eat today
YOU are safe from harm
YOU climb into a warm bed at night
YOU live a blessed life
When we are finished and a child has received our blanket THEY will also be warm at night.
There will be a small something for those of you that are finished your first square by Thursday next week. Keep knitting.

I think that you are all doing a wonderful job of caring for the needs of others. 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
BUT only you know how you are going with the first part -
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
What could you do differently today that would demonstate your love for GOD??
